AMB. (Dr.) Malami Shehu Ma’aji, MFR, is a distinguished Nigerian whose intellect, knowledge, and resourcefulness have earned him recognition across multiple spheres — internationally at the United Nations, nationally through the conferment of a National Honour, and locally in his place of birth, Sokoto.

Born into the royal lineage of Sheikh Usman Danfodio, the revered Islamic reformer and founder of the Sokoto Caliphate, Dr. Ma’aji was nurtured in a legacy of scholarship, service, and leadership.
