AMB. (Dr.) Malami Shehu Ma’ji MFR, is a distinguished Nigerian whose intellect, Knowledge, Capacity and Resourcefulness has earned him recognition initernationally, at the United Nations; Nationally through a national honours award and locally at his place of birth Sokoto.

Born to the royal family of Sheikh Usman DanFodio, the islamic reformer and founder of the Sokoto Caliphate, Dr. Malami Shehu Ma’ji, MFR was brought up in the family tradition of education and scholarship. Amongst his several tutors are his maternal grand parent that includes the reknown scholar, the Late Wazirin Sokoto Junaid.

After his graduation and his quest to further his knowledge, a bloodline inheritance, Dr Malami acquired fellowship of many institutions and professional bodies both locally and intenationally.

he is a fellow of the International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professionals, Fellow, Institute of National Security and Strategic Studies,(FISS); and Member Board Of Directors , Initernational Institute of Professional Security(IIPS).

Dr Malami served as a resource person and personal assistant on intelligence to more than five former Nigerian leaders.

He was personal assistant on intelligence and strategy to former President Ibrahim Babaginda, Personalassistant on intelligence and domestic Affairs to former Head Of State, Late Gen. Sani Abacha and also served former Head Of State, gen Abdulsalami Abubakar as personal assistant on intelligence.

Dr Malami also served former President, Olusegun Obasanjo and Former President, Late Umaru Musa Yar’adua as personal Assistant on Intelligence.

He Served Late President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, as personal aid on Intelligence, Strategy and as Special Envoy; to Foreign Governments, Traditional/Religious Leaders and opinion groups.

He leads Crusade on Counter Terrorism and Insurgency in Nigeria, and indeed African, Neighborhood Enlightenment and Safety Organization (NESO).
